    Absolutely beautiful! IF you are in the area .. totally worth dropping in...even if you are not a Christian! Beautiful architecture... when you are inside the background music (most likely a recording) is lovely and relaxing....! Photos allowed and the lady at the entrance is very sweet... gave us a map for free and a prayer booket! You can park your car inside the compound... Street parking is ticketed.

    Situated on a hill overlooking the ocean, Christ Church Cathedral is a Newcastle landmark, grand but not grandiose, and - unlike its Sydney counterpart - has several interesting side chapels ideal for quiet prayers.

    Volunteers are SO friendly! Absolutely stunning architecture. Photos allowed. Map given for free.

    It was an experience ill never forget. Amazing architecture. Also i would like to point out that when you get to the back of the parish. There will be a BOOK OF GOLD. And if anyone is intrested in the history of the building, you should probably get the little handvook to understand it well. Anyway, whan i saw the inside it was GIANT. The stained glass was really pretty and i liked the idea of a heated marble floor
