Not really big, but a good cinema. The seats could be more comfortable and since al of the chairs are on the same level you have to be lucky and have nobody sit in front of you.

Very accomodating and polite staff. I attended with a person who has disabilities and the staff made sure we were comfortable and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our experience. It's a beautiful atmosphere and although the chairs are old they aren't that bad! I would pick the tower cinema over a cinema inside a Westfields every day of the week

This is a special cinema. It is a little aged but clean and comfortable. The staff are always friendly. It is not like so many cinemas that feel impersonal. Various special interest groups are catered to and my favourite is the annual French film festival.

Plays movies that other cinemas simply do not. Not busy at all so getting tickets was quick and easy. Could do with some renovations however it is understandable due to other alternatives. Go there when nowhere else is showing what you want to see.

Friendly service and even sells beer and wine to enjoy during your movie. Choose your seat carefully as this is an old cinema and some of the seating has seen better days. Ticket price is higher than the big theatres but this cinema is very convenient if you are staying or live in downtown Newcastle.

Recent rerouting of Newcastle buses means they pass the front doors to this cinema and stops are nearby. Why not take a bus to a good movie and avoid the parking hassles?
