  Pretty basic but way too expensive. 2 sandwiches and drinks cost over $50. Food was unimpressive.

  This kind of offering may have been acceptable years ago but is now way below the standards for a cafe in Newcastle. Keep walking and try One Penny Black, Bolton St Pantry or Moor instead.

  The ham and cheese croissants were $9.50 each. I figured - for that price - they would be a decent size and have decent portions of ham and cheese on them. They were disgraceful. One slice of ham, one slice of cheese (if that) and HEATED UP in the MICROWAVE. Absolute rip-off and I shall be warning all of my touring friends who pass through Newcastle to avoid Cafe Plumes. Very disappointed.

  DO NOT EAT HERE! Terrible customer service included blunt attitude, wrong order, and plates thrown at us. Overpriced disgusting food that not only tasted bad but also smelt like plastic.
